OPEN WINDOW TV
OPEN WINDOW TV is a community based television program. Through this show we offer the communities and families informative, enlighten, empowering, educational and entertaining information whereby they may improve their household and then spread it into their communities.
We also offer an opportunity for the viewers to become involved with production of this show by educating them in areas of television production and video production through an additional arm to which we are attached.
OPEN WINDOW TV is partly sponsored by SECOND CHANCE COMMUNITY SERVICES, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. Therefore, any donation you chose to make to this cause can be utilized as a tax-deductible item.
OPEN WINDOW TV's history begin in 1994 after the completion of several classes and workshops to prepare the producer-director, O. Curtis White for this God-Leading journey. We have the desire to give recognition to different aspects of communities and organizations within the many communities we serve.
Being a part of the public school system of Dekalb County Georgia, the hostess and producer/director have insight as to some major needs of our youth. With this information, we sought counter-actions to the problems the today's youth face daily. Through the media of television, we offered them alternate avenues from some of the unfruitful ones presented them through other means.
OPEN WINDOW TV's primary purpose is o inform, enlighten, empower, educate and entertain our viewers and their communities with self-worth, self-esteem and knowledge that will inspire them to improve from whatever level they were prior to viewing our programs.
OPEN WINDOW TV's mission is to seek out those guest which will be of positive nature, positive in attitude and knowledgeable of today's needs of under-developed and deprived communities and its youths. Once these talents are located, we will present them with an opportunity to be apart of our heart-felt mission.
OPEN WINDOW TV's terminal point would be to see constant improvement in both the communities and its youth we serve. To see teen pregnancy, teen violence and teen death rates plummet. On the other side of the spectrum is to see graduation rates, self-respect and family unity sky-rocket.
